# How many public tenders are published in Portugal, France and Colombia?

Counted on the official registers for January to July 2026: Portugal published 19,479 procedure notices and reported 151,702 contracts; France notified 99,437 marchés in the DECP after removing re-declared duplicates; Colombia signed 699,074 contracts in SECOP II, 71.4% of them in January's annual service wave. The three figures count different moments of a procedure's life, an opening in Portugal's notices, a notification in France, a signature in Colombia, and different scopes, which is why no honest table adds them up. What they share is the source: complete administrative registers, counted rather than sampled, with the method published beside each number on its barometer page.
