TRINTA vs carrying on as you are
The real competitor to any tender platform is doing nothing, and it is not a stupid choice: if your buyers already invite you, the tenders find you and the cost is zero. What the status quo cannot do is show you the market you are not already in. You hear about the procedures someone tells you about, which are the ones where you are known, and never about the contract next door that went to a competitor because you did not know it existed. TRINTA replaces word of mouth with a daily scan of the official record. It costs money and it takes a call to set up, so it is worth it only when the market you cannot see is bigger than the one you can.
What the current way does well
The honest case for the alternative, made first and made properly.
- •It is free, and it is already running.
- •It surfaces exactly the opportunities where you are already known, which are usually the ones you are most likely to win.
- •Relationships do real work: a buyer who calls you is a buyer who wants you to bid.
- •No onboarding, no subscription, no new tool for anyone to learn or ignore.
Where they run out
The specific failures that make companies go looking for something else.
- •You only hear about the procedures somebody tells you about, so your visible market is the size of your network rather than the size of your addressable market.
- •Contracts that renew on a cycle come around whether or not you are watching, and the incumbent is the only party who reliably knows the date.
- •Below-threshold procedures, where competition is thinnest, are precisely the ones nobody thinks to mention.
- •Neighbouring markets stay invisible: the same product sold two countries away is bought on a portal you have never opened.
- •When the colleague who knew everybody leaves, the pipeline leaves with them, because it was never written down anywhere.

Carry on as you are when
Real advice against the sale. If one of these describes you, this is the better buy and we would rather you made it.
- •Your public-sector revenue comes from two or three buyers who call you directly, and you do not want more.
- •You are at capacity: winning another contract this year would cost you delivery quality on the ones you have.
- •You sell through distributors who bid in their own name, and the tenders are genuinely their business rather than yours.
- •You have never bid publicly and have not yet decided the channel is for you. Read the free guides first, and try one tender by hand before buying anything.
Questions
How do I know if I am missing tenders?
Look up the award notices in your sector for the last twelve months on the national portal, which is free, and count how many you had never heard of. That number is your answer, and for most companies who try it the number is uncomfortable. If it is zero, your current way is working and you do not need software.
Is a tender platform worth it for a small company?
It depends on contract size, not company size. If a single public contract is worth several months of revenue to you, then one win pays for years of monitoring and the arithmetic is easy. If public contracts in your sector are small and rare, the honest answer is that a free portal alert plus a monthly habit of checking is enough, and TRINTA is not.
