Award criteria

Award criteria are the published factors on which bids are scored, with the weight given to each. The critical detail is the split between price and quality: a contract scored 70 percent on price is a different commercial proposition from the same contract scored 30 percent on price, and the weights are always in the documents rather than the notice summary.
