Italy's procurement publishes across Consip's national purchasing platform, the anticorruption authority's BDNCP and the Gazzetta Ufficiale, with health and regional buyers publishing beside them. TRINTA maps 11 Italian sources. Above the EU thresholds, Italian notices also appear on TED, which TRINTA reads every day.

How to register as a supplier in Italy

Find the notice on ANAC's legal advertising platform, pubblicitalegale.anticorruzione.it: it is public, needs no login, and splits its publications into calls for tender, results and other notices, each with filters by date and keyword.

What Italy's national contracts database shows
In March 2026 Italian contracting authorities communicated 136,663 procedures to ANAC's national public contracts database (BDNCP), one per CIG, the code ANAC assigns to every procedure and every lot. 84.4% were direct awards (affidamento diretto) and 4.4% open procedures. Of the 38,731 worth EUR 40,000 or more, the line ANAC's own analysis uses, 67.9% were direct awards. At least 91.7% sat below the lowest EU threshold, where publication on TED is not required.
The median procedure was worth EUR 17,000, and EUR 118,543 from EUR 40,000 up. For the whole of 2025 ANAC counts 287,421 procedures of EUR 40,000 or more, worth EUR 309.7bn. Above the thresholds, TED published 13,411 award notices from Italian buyers from January to September 2026, and 35.5% of the 10,516 Italian lots with a readable bid count drew a single bid.
Counted by TRINTA from ANAC's OCDS file for March 2026, the only 2026 month ANAC serves (2 other months are listed and answer 404), published by ANAC on 8 April 2026 and read on 12 October 2026, by two independent routes that must agree. No release carries a bid count, so the national database gives no single-offer share, and a TED notice is not a CIG: the two layers do not compare one to one. Values are medians, never totals: the two largest lots declare EUR 9,390,710,961 and EUR 5,154,808,500.
